Honestly you should be good with just what you got. The draw from your sub amp won't be constant with music allowing the alt to charge between big draws.

I'd honestly wait and see if it's necessary before dropping ho money 😂

You don't need one. Get an isolator for your batteries though, preferably a smart one.

If you do choose to get a HO alternator don't go pretty or popular. I have two LActrical HO alternators, as ugly as factory ones, one in a suburban one in a 300. I bring all my alternators to an old electrical shop that's been around for 63 years. These LActrical alts actually push the rated amperage and they last. 7 years for the suburban and 3 for the 300 both still abused daily. I bring them in annually and not a single repair needed and same amperage output every year, for half the price tag of the ones marketed to car audio folks. I know people who paid 450, 600, 750 for Mechman, JS, GP, XDP, and one guy who paid 1500 for two. My shop repairs as many of those as factory ones being many get electrical services there specific to car audio, towing and camping. I paid 533 for my two HOs and 15 bucks annually to get them both properly tested.

If 275 ain't a big hit to the wallet there you go, but just doing a wire(big 3 big 4) upgrade can do wonders. And honestly, you took the right route in going dual battery before an HO alt.

Yea I will install first an them I will know what I need my mind tells me NO but the OCD says yes :(
thanks for the feedback I'll monitor it an know what im I doing after the install
