Currently I have a Kicker ZX1500 that will be powering 4 Skar 8s. I already know I'm going to want more power. My options are pretty limited by budget and needing power @ 2ohm or .5ohm (I think I can wire 4 dual 4s to .5 anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif) Should I sell the kicker and buy 2 "cheap" amps to run @ 2 ohm strapped? Such as AP apsm1500s? Or another option is to get a "nicer" 1.5k-2k amp ~$300-$350 and run it @ .5ohm. look into a fosgate t2000bd, theyll do good on that, Cerwin vega has a good 2k, db drive okur 2k, strapp 2 saz 1k. aq2200d

All of those options are good, but over my budget from what I've seen.

Of all the options u listed with the Audiopoop crap, I'd keep the Kicker all day, no questions asked.

Lol..those aren't my only options. Just threw those out there because they can be had within budget and make more power than I have now. Other suggestions are welcomed!

I just don't see anything for $300 being much of an upgrade if any, unless u run into something thatll do 3k at 2 ohms or .5 of good quality like Sundown, RF etc....

Otherwise, work on the enclosure. Or save up some more cash for a real upgrade. You seem to not even have it running yet and u want louder already lol why not see how it turns out first?

As for amps...I agree, there is no reason to upgrade unless you can really "upgrade" from what you have. That kicker should do a good job overall though.
