hmm, what could the problem be? (xbox live related)

well i created a new gamertag today, and its on a month to month membership. but when i put halo 3 in, it would only let me play social matches, and no ranked. what could the problem be?

when i select a ranked playlist, it says only gold memberships can play.

i have a gold month-to-month membership. it even says it, under memberships. i called microsoft, and they were no help.

umm, did you use a 48hour trail?

you might for some reason be temp banned from matchmaking (ranked)

or. you might not have the map pack for a certain playlist.

before, i bought the membership, i redeemed a 48hr trial. but even after that, it wouldnt let me play ranked.
