Hmm, not what I expected.

My HDC310 isnt what I expected. Ok so I finished my box and got everything installed today. Amp is a Sundown SAE 1200d. Box is 1.5 cubes tuned to 36hz with a 4" port. There just isnt much output and there is an *** of port noise. My girl friends cheap RF 12" hits much harder off of only 400 watts. It moves plenty just doesnt seem to have much volume. Frustrated as crap, dont know, just gonna take a break and see if I can fiqure it out later. I guess I'll try building another box but dont really know what to do differently.

A single 4" PVC port is NOT going to be enough port area for that sub with that power, especially since it's not flared. Three non-flared 4" PVC ports would be better or a single 6".

damn really, cant do three 4"s, guess I'll try a 6" but its gonna be long as hell.
