somebody slammed into my car while me and my girlfriend were sitting at a light the other night headed to dinner. they were going at least 25 or 30 when they hit me, then they drove off and turned off all their lights. stupid ****ers didnt realize their brake lights and license plates lights stayed on... anyways it caused $5400 in damage.

we chased them down, they were driving a black escalade, and i got their tag, but it was a specialty plate and im not sure which state it was from. i already know it wasnt from the state i'm in.

my car is just about ****ed right now, and it's marked as 'not-drivable' even though i dont have shit else to drive so im still driving it. is there any easy way to go about finding them??

i filed the police report 5 minutes after it happened.

give the tag # and tell them it's out of state. there's only so many folks with the same specialized tag

the guy on the case is a ****ing idiot, he didnt even start the case until 4 days after it happened.

i did, but the officer was such a dick, and he like completely doubted that it even happened TO MY FACE. then he didnt start the case until 4 days later after i called him 5 times about it, he said he faxed the tag to the DMV, which I called them and they said they got absolutely nothing from them, and he barely returns my phone calls at all.
