hiss threw aux?

hi so i have a deh-p5000up and no matter what i do there is always a hiss when using the aux connection. I know its not the cord cause i can pull it, out turn up the volume, and still hear the static/hiss. ive already have had to wrap and ground the preouts to stop engine whine from the rest of the functions but now im getting solely from my main source of music.

So of course im open to any and all suggestions on a fix for this if there is one.

Have you tried any other audio output devises, eg = portable dvd player or are you only using an ipod?

tried a new aux cable? i hate aux cables, wires get messed up in em and only one side plays.
