Replace Alpine 7894 or wait?

I have had an Alpine 7894 for several years. I don't really have any issues with it but was kinda considering switching to a head unit that had some new features. Only thing I can think of that would be neat would be a usb port so I can plug a flash drive in for mp3's. Not really sure if there is anything else I could benefit from. i'd love a big screen but I am limited to nothing larger than 1.5 din.

The other components to my system are RF tweeters, 6x9's and 6.5's. All powered by a RF Punch 200 watt amp.

Also would love to know if there are any new Alpine headunits coming out and what features they might have.

Anyone have any opinions on upgrading?

BTW, i am not stuck on Alpine. My last 4 h/u's have been Alpine so I am happy with them but if something better comes out i would not be stuck to one brand.

The only Alpine that would be an upgrade from what you're using is the 9887. Even that may be a downgrade in quality though. Your 7894 has Bass Engine Plus. The 9887 essentially has Bass Engine Pro, although that's not how they advertise it anymore. I'd look into Kenwood Excelon (693 or 993) for what you want.
