High Quality Shallow Coaxials/ Intergrated Tweeter

Every time I try to reinstall these mids/tweeters, I just mess up my door panel more and more. I have been trying to get this install to look good for a couple months and it still doesn't look good, although structurally, I am much better than I was.

What I am looking for in a rather shallow coaxial or braxial mounted componet set. (Although I think braxial is more of a CDT term....I think "tweeter intergrated is the better term)

My issue is depth. I only have maybe 60MM to work with. I am also thinking of going coaxial on the dash if I got coaxial on the door. Size of the door is a 6.5"

Budget is $500-$600 (for both or one).

Any good suggestions?

Thats not too much room
Infinity Ref series coaxial depth is 1 7/8"

Polk db series coaxial, shallow mount is 2"

If you get 4 speakers, get a nice 4ch amp and both of those speakers will sound good
I am really iffy on the infinities, however I do know they will fit.

I have a real nice amp already. I will be stepping down from the Rainbow Profi series....I don't really want to jump off a cliff, so to speak.

oo i see, then i would lean towards the Morels

and those Infinitys, theyre the new 07 model, and i have the 06 model, and midbass increased on the 07s, and midbass usually is a lack on Infinity speakers, but IMO it got a lil better, but theyre still crystal clear with smooth crisp sound, at a good price, but i think Morels would be better

i just got some neXT fl6's , extremly shallow mount, neo magnet/motor on the front of the cone
Any links? Who sells them?

yea the morels state 61mm mounting depth maybe you can shim it out with a small ring if you can get it to fit
I got a little bit of room...If I make a ring and adjust the window track a bit, I should be able to get them to fit. The major issue is how the fit in the little plastic thing. I kind of have to keep it because it is at a good angle for the door panel and hard to reproduce using mdf.

if you wanted to stay rainbow:

43mm mounting depth. Their not coaxil's though. I'm sure you could probably mount them close or find a tweeter mounter thingy.
Looked at those. I'd still have to mount the tweeter somewhere...and that is where my skills lack. Whenever I have to modify, it doesn't ever look very good. I messed up the door by moving it around and getting it scuffed up. It isn't that bad where I actually did the modification.

All you need to do is use some aluminum strapping and place the tweet dead center of the mid...wont it be conceiled by the door panel anyways?
Yeah, I can't do it with the cal27.

Wouldn't the excursion of the mid hit the strapping.

That would work if I could pull it off as the door panel is concave, which would facilitate such an install.
