If u put 1500 on an iDMax it will die very quickly. It will get louder than most subs listed on only 500-700 watts. I ran one sealed and it got rather loud.

the IDMAX is rated 1000 RMS / 1800 Music Program.....if it dies on a amp rated at 1500 watts RMS, I'd send the dang thing back!

It will die very quickly. Put 900 on it and its golden. The coil is small.

If I could have 3 iDMax I would be very content. Their waveguides are sick!

...those waveguides kept Navone at the top for a long time until he got too busy with ID, I reckon
