High efficiency sub suggestion

Looking for an efficient sub suggestion. Want to put together an efficient setup with good sound quality and respectable output that will be powered by a zapco z300c2-slx. Maybe 500-600 watts available. Any size sub or subs to operate in up to 4 gross cubes.

Personally, I love the sound of a 15 - DCON-15 S4

but if space is inadequate..check this out - DCON-12 S4

I don't have experience with this brand, but I have been looking closely at them for a couple of days trying to decide myself. The build quality and specs are just **** hard to beat for the $$. Just looking at the triple mag motor structure, I figure they will take plenty more than rated power...but it doesn't matter if they are under powered, as long as you keep the signal clean.

High efficency isn't always good..

That being said you don't want poor efficency nether..

With 500 to 600 I recommend the AA arsenal..

Excellent sub that gets plently loud and sounds great..

Any more suggestions? By high efficiency I mean produce decent output and extension with lower power levels. Old jl w0's would get loudish on as little as 150 watts as an example.

not suggesting anything really, just pointing to what's out there...I do use the Dayton 15" and 18" PA drivers as mid/sub replacements in my PA..they are awesome for the $$

The last 5 years, I have been running a pair of these on a 2200 watt Audioque @ 1ohm...never had a problem and I would not trade them for anything I have seen around here..they get stupid loud. I do not compete, so I have never tried to see how far they go. I got them locally for a deal that was hard to pass....same for these...

I have been running 2 of the 2XL15D's in my wife's ride on a HiFonics Brutus BXI2005D @ 1ohm for the last 6 yrs, again, no problems and for the money, would not trade them for anything either... and she is alot harder on them than I am on the 3XL's.

Supposedly there are no Authorized online retailers but you can google them..I bought mine new local for less than half of what they are at woofers etc. I bought almost everything in both systems (mids/highs, front amps and the brutus) from woofers etc with prompt service.

Powerbass has an excellent CS, I used them for recommending and tuning both my boxes. I do not mind recommending them or their products to anyone looking for a loud and clean system.

Wow,those are too damm much and probably not worth it.
