I was thinking about image dynamics, jl w6, zapco, etc... Not powerbass or the like
I've had to work late hours because of POS powerbass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifLOL...sounds like some folks already got..umm, what's the term.."butthurt"..lol
I guess i got lucky...twice.
Yeah, I know what you mean, I did too back in the mid to late 90's when I actually carried a subscription to Car Audio & Electronics magazine and if you bought overseas, you was buyin junk....but, thanks to the New World Order, it all comes from overseas. Like I said though I have not bought in five years, so I don't mind recommending due to product dependability and daily performance. I do have some MB quart coaxes that I can tell are starting to tire a bit, come to think of it...take care and good luck!I was thinking about image dynamics, jl w6, zapco, etc... I understand, and since then his budget has been revealed and I agree, it was an honest suggestion based on his amp specs as well as build appearance. His amp specs to 235 watts x2 @2....and 415 watts bridged mono @2...and get this 1.8 amps at Idle and 70a @ 450watts max full draw..that thing is an old hawg, buddy...Love me some oldskool zapco..I had 2 zapco 220's running 4 Godfather 15's back in 1987...man I wish I had kept that ****..To the recommendation of the dcon -- if the OP is running over 500w I would invest in a GCON instead. You will still get a lot out of the sub even if you are running a few hundred watts under the RMS, plus your chances of blowing a sub getting 200w under RMS vs. 200 over RMS are a lot lower.

Yea, they were not much of a "cheater", but you at least got what you thought you were buyin.unlike most they peddle now days..and if that dcon wont take 500, I dang sure aint buying it either.Zapco was extra conservative with these year models. It will put out a tad bit more than rated
The z200 beat it's rated power by 36%. Not sure on the z300, but it's not a huge leap to assume similarities exist.eh, I don't want you to think I am putting down your amp, I am green over it..they don't make them like that anymore..but yea, 5 to 600...maybe
That would be a totally fair assumption...which should put you at 408 watts into a 4ohm mono load on that amp, since it specs at 300 x 1 bridged @4....I did recommend the DCON 15 S4..single 4ohm...in anything up to 4 cubes tuned to whatever you desire...if you can get one...with the GCON, you automatically drop 4 db in sensitivity right off the bat...go figureThe z200 beat it's rated power by 36%. b4 I get flamed, I should have said "it would fit in the space requirements u provided"...lolThat would be a totally fair assumption...which should put you at 408 watts into a 4ohm mono load on that amp, since it specs at 300 x 1 bridged @4....I did recommend the DCON 15 S4..single 4ohm...in anything up to 4 cubes tuned to whatever you desire...if you can get one...with the GCON, you automatically drop 4 db in sensitivity right off the bat...go figure
