Hifonics Txi1008D Class D Mono amplifier. Subs arent playing.

Hifonics Txi1008D Class D Mono amplifier.

All power and ground cables are working properly, proper 12v is being sent to the amplifier according to the dmm and the circuit detector.

Amplifier is on, letters light up and the on-light is on.....Subwoofers are not playing, used the circuit detector and dmm on the + and - of speaker outputs and no circuit according to the detector and the dmm is showing -0.03v....

Any idea what the problem could be? The speaker wires are wired up properly.

I decided to take the bottom off to see if there may have been any physical damage to the internal components.

I see no physical damage...

Take an MP3/portable cd player and hook it directly up to the amp via a headphone to RCA cord. If theres still no sound, there is something wrong with the amp. If there is sound, then then its your HU or RCAs.

Does your other amp have sound? If it does make sure that the sub out is on your HU is on.

No sound....

Ive hooked the amplifier up in other vehicles, no sound...

The amplifier is brand new aswell.

Sounds like the amp is toast. Contact where you bought it from and get it replaced.

Warranty doesn't cover "non-professional" installs...

I'm going to send it to a repair shop.

that sucks, you probably just got a bad one. ive had 3 hifonics', 1 fryed after i hooked it to my SX, the other two were perfect.
