I have the amp and the thing is a beauty, never has shut off on me, and yes i have it powering a 15 brahma,

i know you don't want that sub , but the quality of their amps is good, and they are almost as good as a pair of boston rally's , not bad for the money, never know with subs though

i guess i served of no help , sorry

if there subs are like there amps they are probably overrated and will die a painful death if given rated power. just my opinion but nobody probably cares.

are you implying i'm on the hifonics bandwagon? if that's the case then you are seriously mistaken. hifonics bread and butter is suppose to be there amps and if they can't do that right what makes you think there subs are good?

I used to run a coupla Zeus 10's and they were alright. Although, I only ran those for about two weeks because they weren't enough for me. I wound up upgrading to a coupla 12W3's, but that only lasted about a month before I upgraded again to the W6's. I guess what I'm getting at is that the HiFonics subs were cool while they lasted.

What crawled up your sphincter and died? lol Hifonics makes solid amps, you are about the only person I see complain about them. Still dont know where you are getting this crap about them being overrated. They aren't top quality, but they are decent, and imo great considering their price.

trust me i'm not the only one who has had problems with them. do a search. when a 600 watt amp is louder in the exact same system as a 1000 watt hifonics brutus, i do believe that means the hifonics amps are overrated.

A 600 watt amp was 'louder'? Since when is amplifier output rated in db's? This alone tells me your 'test' was less than scientific, if you had a test at all.

As Ive said all along, I actually considered Brutus amps a while back, and looked into them. Basically all of them I looked at (the 1500d's) were birthed at right around 1500 watts. I easily saw as many over 1500 as I saw under it.

So again, I have no idea how you are drawing the conclusion you are.

how were these amps birthed when they don't come with birth sheets from the factory because hifonics knows they don't make full power. i go by my ears and when i noticed a significant difference in the loudness between the 2 amps i know my hifonics was not producing. end of story
