Hifonics subs

i am still waiting on my hifonics to be fixed by sergey are KBaudio.com (it wasnt the amps fault and not mine.) some dork messed it up. but once i get the bench i will post it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i am interested to know how u knew they were "birthed" at 1500. if they dont come with stat sheets

i bought mine from an authorized dealer and it didn't come with any type of birth sheet. i ended up selling mine for only $10 less then what i paid for it so i didn't do too bad on it.

please do. i would like to see these magical test.
Magical? Testing amplifier output is very easy to do with some simple equipment and a little knowledge. But I guess that sort of test cant compare to your ear test. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I had a HiFonics amp before, the BX500,man did that thing **** monkey balls. I will never buy another one again. It's a matter of opinion i guess but i didnt like the build quality at all and wasn't happy with the sound. I uninstalled it that day and bought a crossfire amp, problem was solved.

if you can't tell weteher a sub is louder by ear then why the hell do people upgrade amps and subs? there was definately a difference in loudness when you sat in my car with the other amp. i don't what else to tell you. honestly please tell me what this tesing upon delivery is. does the ups guy hook it up in his truck and give you the results when he delivers the amp? also you could've condensed all the stupid shit you said into 1 post instead of 3.

There are more variables than simply the actual power output when switching amps. Did you do any testing at all to verify your gains were set exactly the same between amps, for example? Simply swapping out amps and deciding if one is underrated by if its louder to your ear or not is far from a scientific test. If you cannot see that, I dont know what else to tell you on the matter.

As for what is what is tested upon delivery, are you retarded, or just acting that way. Yeah smart ***, the UPS guy checked it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif It meant the people who bought the amps tested it upon receiving them. I didn't realize I needed to speak so slowly in order for a few of you guys to comprehend beyond coming up with a couple smart *** comments.

As for condensing my posts, dont like how I responded? Too bad. *shrug*

i used a dmm to set my gains on both amps dipshit. who are these people that bought it and tested it upon delivery? why do you keep avoiding that?

And you've tested the amp you compared it to, to know its watt output right? Right. You are trying to say your test proved the hifonics is overrated, when you haven't tested either amp you are comparing to know -actual watts-. If you have a dmm, why didn't you bother testing the amp's -actual output- rather than making a quantitative conclusion with zero actual figures? Im inclined to disbelieve you, as it seems odd that same dmm would have given you the actual figures you were looking for, rather than needing to compare to another unknown actual wattage amp. The only thing your test proved, if you actually did use a dmm, was that the one amp (rated less) put out more power. You are jumping to a conclusion that this proves the brutus amps are overrated crap.

As for who those people were, I explained that, at the beginning. When I was looking for these amps, people who I talked to/read from that actually tested watatge output (@14.4) pretty much found them to put out what they were rated for. Did I bookmark all these links, reviews and posts, in case someone demands to see them in the future? No. And I currently do not have the time to go back and do that research again right now, to prove it to you. And frankly with your childish name calling attitude, Im not that partial to take time out of my schedule at this point (having xmas family guests arrive tomorrow) to do it. When I have time, I will look up some of these reviews, and I'll be glad to post them for you.
