Difference in soundwaves on SQ compared to SPL

SQ just means that you're getting a great reproduction of the sound wave, ie no distortion. SPL has nothing to do with the actual wave itself, it just means there's enough air movement to create pressue, which is the SPL of the setup.

Drivers built specifically for SPL purposes usually do not focus heavily on linear movement of the cone and therefore distort the signal sometimes which gives them low SQ. SQL just means that the driver was designed to sound good (ie not distort), and also moves a lot of air which creates pressure.
