hifonics sub?

are the hifonics brutus subs good? im looking to buy 2 brutus 12" off ebay and putting them to a brutus amp, do these subs hit hard or should i look at another sub around the same price range for 2 12", im just waiting for someone to buy my current alpine mrp-m500 amp. then i can get the new amp.
