If my hifonics amp has 2 80 amp fuses on it is it possible that one of them is blown and it will make my subs sound shitty like they are getting half the power? I cant see my amp because it is mounted behind my rear seat so I just want to know before I go taking apart my back seat to get to the amp.

Thanks,

mike

if a fuse blows, the component or object that was fused wont even turn on until that fuse is replaced. either something blew/broke/ wore out or the settings got messed up.

it may be the rca's. or if you have dvc subs a wire might have come loose only giving power to one coil.
alright so I have checked both the subs and all of the wires are still on nice and tight. Also, for some reason the box came loose and lots of air was escaping so I put new screws and it still sounds the same. Do you guys think its becasue the caulking is cracked inside? Should I put some new cauking inside the box?
