hifonics bx1000d 0.5 ohm stable??

hey can anyone tell me if the HiFonics bx1000d can be wired to .5 ohm i have 2 jbl 12 inch 2 ohm dvc and if i wire in 4 ohms it says the amp only puts out around 250 rms but 1000rms at 1ohm but i cant wire my subs to 1 ohm so ya if anyones knows please let me know.

I really don't think it is. Email hifonics and ask. You could wire it to 2ohms.. what is the output in 2ohm?

its 500wrms at 2 ohms but the bx1500d is 1000wrms at 2 ohms so im just gonna shell out for htat one instead

I would say check out other amps. What is the rms of the subs?
