Hey guys About a 2 years ago i had gotten a Jvc Headunit Professionally Installed in a 98' Nissan Altima. The head unit Now Only Sounds through one side(Left). SOto skip the headache i went and bought a new head unit to install my self. When i took the HU Off It was being held on with some type of What looks like Glue Or some type of adhesive to hold it on to the face plate Anyone Know what this is or How To get it off????? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new head unit may have come with to flat tools. If so, insert each one into the sides of the head unit to release it. It's possibly that a rectangle part around the head unit may stay in the car but you can just slide the new one into it. The new one should snap into place.

I'm sort of confused, what exactly is glued? the faceplate? or the actual radio in the car?

the altima Has a Dash Trim Sorry for the confusion. the Aftermarket Faceplate That was installed with the Hu Was Glued to the Dash Trim.
