I have 2 of the older orange memphis mojo 12's dual 2 ohm. I currently have them on a power acoustik BAMF 5500. Does not do rated specs, but overall not a bad amp. I can get a Hifonics BRZ 2400.1 It puts out a reliable 1 x 850 @ 4 OHMS, 1 x 1700 @ 2 OHMS, 1 x 2400 @ 1 OHM. Each of the Mojo's are 1000 RMS, so at 2 ohms they only get 850 rms. Is this adequate to get my mojo's moving?

Why not just find a 2k @2 , i seen someone on fb that has an alpine mrp-m2000 for like 2 something
Thats what I want, but can't find one locally on craigslist or facebook, and I Have a fear of getting ripped off by ordering from someone on facebook, and the amp not work.

honestly the bamf/5500 will do between 2k & 2500 @ 1 ohm. i know people here will disagree and say they wont that or wont do the rated 3200 @ 1 ohm. the 3200 rating is a 16v rating actualll and if ran at 16v it will indeed put out the 3200(i have seen it clamped with 18v power supply and it did about 3209rms on a burp lol)...

Also the brutus 2400 wont actually do the 2400, its closer to 2200 which is still good power.

in short the bamf/5500 will be actually on par or close the power with the brutus 2400. the negative is that the bamf/5500 drops off power pretty bad when voltage goes down. I have used and owned a few bamf5500's and for the money they are not bad amps at all, wont do 3200 at normal car conditions but will be a good 2k amp for you if you run 1 ohm.

in your case id find a amp that will run .5ohm, or find a good 2k @ 2ohm amp such as a kicker amp or as above stated a alpine amp
