i wanting to buy the Hifonic Brutus bx1500D ive seen them on Ebay but i dont wanna buy on ebay... i bought on ebay with paypal i cancel my account so i dont wanna buy again on ebay.. i was wondering if there any sites where you can order Hifonic amps directly from them or somewhere i can get a hifonic amp and a site that has good prices on amps like Ebay lookin for Hifonic amp no more then 250 dollers thanks for any info

I was reading up on Hifonics Brutus bx1500D and it said it was only a 1channel amp does that mean you can only run one sub on this amp? or can you run two Subs? ....

You can run as many subs as you would like, as long as the amp was stable running into the resulting impedences

no u can run 2 subs but they just can not be below the stable ohm of the amp.

the subs im gettin will be 4ohm but the specs of the amp said 1 Channel Mono Amp

1 x 500 watts rms into 4 ohms

1 x 1000 watts rms into 2 ohms

1 x 1500 watts rms into 1 ohms

the 1x500 watts rms into 4 ohms confussed me... i just thought if you have subs that are 4 ohms that you can only hook up one sub.. lol

No, it just means that if your final load is 4ohms, you'll only get 500w out of the amp.

Are your subs single voice coils or dual voice coils?? Cause you can wire single voice coil 4ohm subs down to 2ohm, but you could wire 4ohm DVC subs to 1ohm.

im not sure if they are DVC or not... they are the 12's SE's 600w rms.. still gotta call and order them but was just finding out the info about the amp...
