i've tried a new ground, new rca cables (monster cable Directional RCA's) , Ran the Power and gronds on outside of the car (for test Purposes) and rca's down the middle and i'm still getting horrible whine on a New Brutus dx1500....

Any Suggestions And Yes i have tried the Search Function

There is whine on volume zero and it goes up with RPM so it is alternator noise

Tried regrounding the headunit?? After that, go through the process of elimination. Unplug the RCAs from the headunit, turn on the system and see if it's still there. If it goes away, you know the problem is with the headunit. If it's still there, try unplugging the RCAs from the amp. If the noise goes away, you know the problem is with the RCAs/connections. If it's still there, you know the problem is internal in the amp itself.

the Head unit is Grounded to the frame.

My old JBl 1200.1 didn't have this problem but when i installed the new Brutus it all went to hell.

I've already tried the rca test and the HU test. i'm thinking about going to 2 Guage ground and power wire, do any of you know if the sell shielded power wires? Will it make a diffrence.

The ground location is being shared by 2 other grounds could this be a problem.... I have Very few Ground Locations the car is made out of fiberglass, graphite, and plastic. the only metal is the Frame and suspension components

Ok I found the problem. It's not the Ground hell it's not even the sub its the (4) 6.5 Coaxials being run of a Cheap amp (witholding name because i don't have a flame suite ready)

It wasn't a problem before but it seems as if when i changed the subs amp it screwed the other one (cheap one) do any of the Major stores (circuit city, Al and Ed's Best buy etc,) sell line filters for rca's.

i'm going with a zues amp early next month with my Re comps but i need it to work in the mean time. It didn't do it before why now?

prolly just clipped the amp cuz it was a POS. i had the same problem and mine fried. heres a picture of the circutboard

it just happens when you try and steal all the power an amp can produce, and then some. dont go cheap. i wish i hadnt broken that amp, but oh well =P
