HID system

Isn't quite getting the kick to ignite the bulb.. you can wire in a capacitor on the input side of the ballast I believe (check around to make sure), and if it's not run via a relay, make a relay give it power, not the headlight harness. And as CTT said, make sure the grounds are adequate of course.

Or you can do what you're supposed to do from the get go, and either trash the bullshit HID kit, or retrofit in a set of OEM projectors with OEM ballasts/bulbs.

HID kits in Non HID housings FTL!

Not everybody's got 1,200 bucks for some headlights. And who cares?

Thats if you do it yourself and depends what kind of car you have.

It would cost me 400 for a set of headlights. I forgot how much hidplanet wants for a set of projectors and then you'll have to get a set of oem hid setup.

Unless you get everything off ebay and do it yourself, its not gonna be 600.

I have to admit that when some big *** truck come towards my way i'd be hating that shit but thats regardless if they have hid or not cause their halogen be bright as fawk when they're sitting like 6 inches higher than stock.

Why pay someone to do something that you can very well do on your own with a few tools and some reading.

Also, get off your *** and go to a pull a part junk yard and get the parts like I do.

Ebay is wonderful, and I will never understand why people are scared of it. I have a TON of awesome transactions. You just have to make sure you know what you're getting. Ask questions. Yadda yadda.

Education = cheaper retrofits.

Paying $1200 for one is just laziness.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

dam 600 still alot for some lights.
People don't seem to mind paying $600 for a bunch of fiberglass on their car (bodykit), that doesn't do anything productive. Atleast this $600 investment is productive, and actually adds value (and they're highly sought after if you part them out...)
