hi level input

High level inputs are inputs that directly accept the amplified output from your headunit. They are for use when your headunit doesn't have any RCA output (i.e. like a stock headunit). You just tap into the speaker outputs and run them directly into the high level inputs rather than having to purchase and install a Line Out Convertor.

If your headunit does have RCA outputs, there is no reason to use the high level input.
