Except for Class C or B (which are inferior for audio amplification apps), it comes down to the intended use as to what's ultimately better. Class D, T, G, etc... amps are used for monoblock amps for subwoofers commonly because they're relatively efficient for the amount of power generated. You could use Class A/B for subwoofers, but at the cost of a higher current demand for the same amount of output power. And Class A...well, you wouldn't want to use it in a vehicle, but it excels in the narrow application it does work for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

well im gettin 2 apline SWR-1042D and each one is 500w rms 1500w peak, so which amp or amps do u recommend

If you have a bigger budget, there's a guy in the classifieds selling a PG Tantrum 1200.1, that would be my personal choice.

It'll give you at least 700W RMS per driver @ 4 ohms, and give you impedance flexibility for future setups.

That Lanzar Vibe is somewhat overrated, so you won't get 4kW before the onset of clipping. Not like you really need anywhere near that much power to begin with.

If you can afford to spend $500 on an amp, get that Tantrum for a little over $300, and use the money you saved to buy more stuff for your install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
