Hey guys,will this work...?

Im think about getting a pair of Kappas (6x9) *i know*.....anyway, their spec sheet says 2 ohm impedence....i have a old hifonics series 8 cupid 22x2 at 4 ohms.....could i run that amp to those speakers at a 2 ohm load? I know, noob question, but there it is.........and maybe should that even be the CORRECT way to run them? Thanksagain.

If the amp is rated @ 2 ohms, sure why not. If it's only rated for 4 .. then just keep the gains low.

shouldnt be a problem if done right.
