hey im new to this forum .. but i have been looking at it for quite sometime just never got around to signing up ... you guys are very knowledgeable people .. much respect from me

Im looking for a SPL setup ... something very loud ... i have a focus hatch so ... i know its one of the better type cars to hit good numbers ...

I have upgraded big 3,yellowtop, 200 amp alt ... so my eletrical system is taken care of ...

I have hookups with Kicker due to a friend of mine knowing a shop owner ... so I can get their equipment cheap ... although i dont want L7s because ive had em before and i wasnt impressed...

the setups i was contemplating were:

2 15" CVX dual 2 ... and a zx1500.1 powering them

2 12" AA Aresenals powered by a Orion 1200d or SX1250.1

so im stuck ... just wanted ur opinions on a good setup around 600 dollars ... for amp and sub ... cuz thats how much these two setups would run me ... any opinions comments would be very much apprieciated. ..

What didnt impress you about L7s? If you have a hookup, a pair of 15"L7s ported with a couple g's of watts should be better than those two setups you listed.

run them off a 2500.1, and i would say you will more than likely need a larger box than that

might be tight ... in the hatch ... i dont think its gonna fit .. and i wanna keep my backseats ... hmm ill have to think up something .. but thats gonna be my setup...
