Help !!!!

I am so lost. How do i wire my HDC312 sub. Its D2 ohm and I want to wire it down to 1ohm. Dont know to wire this sub with the 4 wires. Hope this isnt a dumb question

Alright...on the sub there are 2 positive terminals and 2 negative terminals...one for each voice coil...run a wire from coil one positive to coil two positive then run a line from coil two positive to the amp....repeat steps for negative...or if that confused u there are diagrams on Car Alarm, Car Stereo, Mobile Video, and Cruise Control Info for Installers

It's ok. No shame in asking. Just don't buy a quad coil sub lol

Google the rockford fosgate wiring wizard. Twist ur wires together.

It doesn't matter if the speaker has wire leads or spring terminals or spade terminals or bolts and nuts... positive is positive is positive and negative is negative is negative... always.

Positive is always on the right when looking at the sub from the rear with the coil terminations at 6 o'clock and, of course, negative is always on the left.

so is the sub a single 2 ohm? or a duel 2 ohm?(2 sets of terminals or one set of terminals)

im confused on this direct connect lead wires. hahaha I wish this sub had terminals !!! i dont understand how to take D2 and make it 1 ohm with no terminals? maybe connect them with a wire nut and add another wire with it for the amp?
