ok so say i wire the subs together would that run them both at 600 or if i unplugged the one sub would that make the one run at 600

Please clarify what you're asking here. If you just hook one of your subs up to the amp that would be a 4 ohm load, you said the amp does 400 watts at 4 ohms, so the sub would get 400 watts.

ok i think i understand now so my 2 4 ohm subs are parralled together at the amp so that makes it a 2 ohm load a 600w and there are 2 subs so it divides the power to 300w per sub right? so say if i wanted to run 600w to each sub could i do that with this amp? also my subs are in a sealed box would they be better in a ported box?

no you cannot - that would require a 1,200 watt amp

also my subs are in a sealed box would they be better in a ported box?

if you wanted them louder than a ported box would be better

what size wire are you using to power the amp?

im running 4g wire, the amp has full power 14.4v when the car is running

would a ported box produce more bass? and is 300wrms to much for thos subs that are 250wrms?

well you will def be safer overpowering those subs in a sealed box

I think if down the road you want to upgrade some better subs in a custom box would be your next step

You got it now buddy. 600 rms is about all you can get out of that amp, and yes ported is usually louder.
