Help with wiring?

Alright so i just received my KnuKonceptz Complete 4 Gauge Kolossus OFC Amp Kit. The power and ground wires are to large so im going to have to crimp them but do i also have to strip them when putting them in the amp? also my speaker cable came together( like 2 wires together) so should i strip those also since the plastic is whats holding them together...also this kit came with no remote only an rca so do i need to purchase a remote?????

Yes just strip the insulation off the power and ground. On the speaker wire, use a knife and cut down the middle to separate the wires and strip the insulation. I'm thinking the knu kit has the remote wire built into the rca wire. Does it has a little thin wire attached between the left and right rca?

Yea the remote is built into the rca wire. It should be a single thin wire sticking off the end.

Oh yea! I see it now haha i thought it was the little twist tie thingy because the wires just came in the mail haha dope so after i purchase a new deck and i plug the rcas in where does that remote wire go?

Aren't you running an amp? There's a spot on the amp that says rem. That wire goes there. Then it ties into the head unit at the remote wire. It's what turns the amp on.

Pfft i swear I always sound so dumb haha you just told me thats the remote no **** it goes into the remote slot for the amp lol but how should i attatch it to the amp since the slot is so big but the remote wire is soooo small

That's common. Just strip it and put it in the space for it and turn the set screw till it's tight.

For the fuse for the batter do i cut off the power cable so i place one end of the cable leading from my amp and the other end leading to the battery?

Yea and place the fuse within 18 inches of the battery. The closer the better.

alright cool because my amp is located right next to me battery(battery in the trunk) so i can also shorten the power cable so its not 18 feet lol

Also I heard that on my bmw 325i that there is a rear deck? how am I supposed to wire this?

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

I just remember hearing about a rear deck? like isnt deck another term for the HU?

It could be. But I couldn't see any reason for a second deck. Maybe an amp on the rear deck(where the rear speakers are). If you a second deck, it would be new to me and you'd probably have to ask on a car forum specific forum or look around on the net. Or maybe someone on here is familiar with that car.
