Help with wiring?

Only way is to do it yourself or get a family member to help out. These installs take time to do, and at the prices people charge, you'll save loads doing it yourself.

Alright thsanks haha sadly id be the most in my family to know what im doing and obbviously from the questions im assking i have nooo clue what im talking about lol could you tell me whatid need if i purchased a new HU I have a 2003 BMW 325i...Lets say i just bought a HU i just want one super simple like only reason why i want a new one is to plug my ipod into but nyways if i got one what exactly would i need to install it??

As you can see from my member title, I am also a newbie. I have an unamped, unsubbed, setup LOL.

I'm pretty sure your 325i is a single din. So get a new single din stereo. I recommend an Alpine, Kenwood, or Pioneer.

After you do that, get a wiring harness for your car. (If you buy it from Crutchfield, it should come with them)

And I think BMW's need a special antenna harness also.

Basically, you plug the harness into your factory slot, and then crimp or solder connections to the harness form the new HU, then you install it.

Pretty easy, just search on google for your specific car, there should be at least one!

Doppe haha that totally helped me out and gave me a good idea of what im gonna need to be doing...thanks dude for someone whos a "noobie" you certainnly know more then me haha!
