also when i got my subs installed they had to extend the power wire with a coupler...could that be a possibility too?

that shouldn't matter all that much. not enough to cause your amps to shutoff.

just take a dmm to your battery with the acc on and then the engine on and measure the battery's voltage.

well as he said, use the order. big 3, batt, alt, second batt.

kinda fixed the problem, i called kenwood and they had me wire the amp "correctly" but the shit is still cuttin out on me i really dont get it
