Okay I am installing an aftermarket stereo into my 99 Buick Century. It is a DUAL radio/cd player, single DIN and on the aftermarket wiring harness I got (from walmart, schoch I think) (it says for 97 to 2005 buick century among other cars) I have all the wires hooked up except for three, which don't have a wire to go to on the Dual Stereo wiring harness.
I have a white and black wire that says amplifier ground, and two orange wires, one says illumination and the other says dimmer. I don't have any orange wires or this ground for the amplifier on my Dual stereo. Do I need to just cap the amp ground off, and not use it (as I assumed that amps grounded off the amp itself to the car chassis metal in the trunk) or do I wire it in with the chassis ground.
I ask this because I don't even have an amplifier yet. That comes next month.
Thanks
