help with wiring new amp

i already have my system correctly hooked up but i intend on switching out the subs for stronger ones and hooking them up to separate amps.

when i hook up my new amp do i need to put a ground in it and hook it up to the 12v battery or will hooking up to just 1 amp be enough after i split the RCA cables?

Yes, each amp will require it's own power, ground, and amp turn on wires. Depending on the existing gauge wire to your battery, you may be able to use a distribution block to split the power to both amps.

Also you can daisy chain your turn on wire from the exisiting amp. Same applies for rcas if your amp has rca outputs.

You can daisy chain your remote wire (turn on wire) also you should be able to daisy chain the RCA's I dont see any reason why that wouldnt work.
