Help with wiring big 3 to battery

I have a top/side post battery, I was wondering could I have my stock wires going to the top post of the battery and then hook the new wire from the alt to the side post along with the stereo amp wires out?

So the stock wires stay on the top post and the new alt to battery goes to the side post of the battery along side my amp wires comes out from the battery and my ground wire goes to the side post and not the top post also. Will this work or do they both need to enter the battery on the same post....as in the stock and new wire runs? Thanks

yes, thats the best/easiest way to do so in my opinion

id do it that way, but if it was me id have my stock wires going to side posts and my acc wires going to top posts, just for easier access, just do it around how your car is made, if the stock wires are made for top posts, leave it that way

my car was made for side posts, so if i had both id keep my stock wires to side posts and all my other wires to top posts such as amps and whatever

only gm has factory side posts, thats why he is doing it like he is

OP thats how I do all my cars, donr mess with the factory stuff and I add all the wires to the side posts, you can buy a pair of universals at the auto parts for like $5
