Hello, my current setup is a Pioneer Champion Series TS-W309D4 Subwoofer, with a Pioneer GM-D7500M Class-D Mono Amplifier. I installed it myself and it’s been working great for about 2 months, but now when i turn up the volume past 20 the sub cuts in and out, and the amp will blow its 40 amp fuse. I can’t find any problems other than a weird ohm reading at the voice coils. My Fluke meter reads 1.5 and below ohms when the voice coils should be 4ohms. Is this causing my amp to trip out? Why would my voice coils have lost ohms? The sub doesn’t seem blown, and it sounds alright at low volumes. The sub is a Dual 4 ohm Voice Coil rated at 400w RMS. The Amp is 400w RMS. I wired it for a 2 ohm load at the amp, and i have 4 gauge power and ground wires. Please help!
