I have no idea how I am supposed to put my wires in here (third pic) with that metal thing that seems to be in the way. Is there a certain connector or adapter I need? If so please help and tell me what I need to get? This is the only help I need. Thank you.

Those screw out using allen head tools. You loosen them up and then stick the wires in and them tighten them down very simple.

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC.
Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
