Hi, I am currently trying to fix an issue with my system, I have the boss audio ar1500m monoblock amp and the 1400w cx122 dual subs.
I currently have everything set up and properly wired however i am getting no sound or response from my subs other than electrical booms when plugging in the rca cables.

I believe my issue lies with my radio interface. Currently I only have a usa.spec ipod to honda interface (pa15-hon2) with a 8-pin dim plug in from radio and a rca aux out to my amp. I tried using this for my amps rca cables but i have a feeling this interface isnt compatible for my amps rca cables as its meant for plugging an aux cord but its has identical rca female plugs as shown in the pictures.

I also may have made a mistake with the remote wiring as I just looped the remote wire right to the battery wire as i dont need a remote on off im fine with it always being on if thats not an issue.

I just want to know if i CAN infact use the ipod interface for the rca cables or I have to get a proper line out converter to actually get sound from my subs. THe subs have power, everything is plugged in where it should be but still no sound whatsoever. I am a complete amateur so I could really use some help with figuring this out. I have included pictures of my whole set up if anyone notices something wrong or messed up please point it out as I really have no idea what im doing at this point. Im trying my best but I could use some help.

lol XD I literally just realized that is an aux input not an aux output. Im assuming thats the reason why it wont work right? Im really sorry for if these are dumb questions this is my first time ever doing this sop please bare with me.

Ok, thanks for the info, dragon.breath.

My kit didn't come with any type of switch or device for the remote so I'm not really sure what I should do with remote cable. I figured that was the best option. Is there any type of simple solution to this that wont require an extra device?

I did a little digging and my radio has a blue wire for the remote amp cable so i can use the radio as an on off for the amp. I don't know if this is the optimal way to do it but I'd rather do that. I think that's what the kit intends me to do since it didn't come with any 12v switch.

Is there any consequences to doing it this way or will that work for now?
