Help with port dimensions plz

calculating size and port length involves alot of math and most people wont do it for u. i usually go with around 15in2 of port opening area per cubic foot of box volume i think. dont include the volume of the port into the volume of the box. and ummm it would be alot more helpful if u posted what subs your using, and what vehicle, and the total volume in your car that u want to use. and how much power. So assuming you are using .75 inch material all around you are starting out with a gross volume of 6.52 cubic feet.

So if you, and if someone could double check my math that would be great, do 2 ports each being 7x5 you will have 70 sq feet of total surface area. Each port will be 20 inches long. I assumed .1 cubic feet of displacement per driver so a total of .3 cubic feet of driver displacement and 1.46 cubic feet of port displacement. Your end result should be a net volume of 4.76 cubic feet, tuned to 32 hz, with 14.7 sq inches of port per cubic foot.
