How much space is generally required per driver for 10, 12, and 15 in 4th or a 6th order enclosure?

4th = big

6th = bigger

It'll vary from sub to sub. Either pay someone to design it, get a program like BBP or play around in WinISD.

well i was gonna have a 4th order for a pair of sa 15's and it was around 12 cube total

Box for my 18 is gonna be around 12 cubes total. Doing a big ratio for lots of efficiency and output.

Yeah I'm aware. Peaky doesn't really bother me, in fact I kinda like it. If a song is playing and there is a higher note (say 50hz) and then a lower note (37hz) I like having the 50hz note be not as loud so when the 37hz note comes in it has more impact, I guess...to each their own //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah I'm aware. Peaky doesn't really bother me, in fact I kinda like it. Based on the space for a 15 and an 18, would it be safe to guess 3.5-4 for a 12? I am thinking my next system may be 8 SA-12s in a 4th order wall, if I have the space. Any box designers wanna chime in?

the bandpass I'm looking at designing for my 12" is about 6.5 cf, but it is a 6th order... not sure if i'd do it though, group delay is looking like an issue...
