It can work, I personally wouldn't do it, but yeah it's definitely doable.

i know its doable but i was wondering if it would sound better ported or sealed

Anyways, like I said I would probably try sealed since it will be difficult to design and tune it properly. If you want to do ported and you aren't sure about the tuning I can design it for you.
