Is there any easy method / online calculator to determine the woofer displacement of a particular woofer?
My sub didn't come with any specs execpt for the thiele/small parameters. I've done a bunch of online searches but only came up with two methods. Once was to dunk the sub in a bucket of water and determine how many liters of water was displaced. The other was an elaborate formula based off of the distance between the surround and the bottom of the magnet.
I tried the later, and came up with a figure of .27ft^3. Is that not fairly large for a 10" sub? The sub in question is a CSS SDX10.
