2500*.6=1500

sq rt of 1500 is 38.xxxx

I just set it at 1ohms cause it will never sit at 0.6 ohms

also it will put out alittle more then 2500w @ 0.6 ohms with a steady 14v

more like 2800-3000w

Right now it is getting some what loud.

-3DB test tones Ftw.

But still not enough output for me.

Changed a few setting on the amp

Gain set with -3db 50hz tone

Intelli q set to 1/4 up

12db slope

Hpf 30hz

lpf 80hz

Turned head unit up to 45/63

sub control all the way up

eq Flat

Loudness off

turned up the gain till the voltage reached 49v

Poped in some music and listed to the sub and it did not stress distort ect.....

took reading of the speaker voltage during music and it was peaking around 36-39v

Building alittle smaller box 2.5 cuft after displacement tune alittle higher maby 37-38hz 60-70 square inches of port area.

This is really on a temp system I have changed my goals and getting a crx.

2X15" Fully decked out BTL's amp(s) not sure yet.

Still not very happy with my 2500d so dont think I will get another.

You still haven't set the gains by ear have you?

SETTING GAINS BY MULTIMETER IS ALMOST ALWAYS NOT A GOOD IDEA!

You should be able to get loud with just the one amp!! I have my MT on a Kicker zx2500.1 right now and i can consistantly break 150, something is either wired wrong or amp just isnt working properly.

Well I think it was just a setting on the deck.

I changed it and started to play music and it was hitting really well.

Lots of fex, my back window, deck, trunk lid.

My buddy sat in it and got out after about 5 seconds.

Checked votage during music and it was around 38-44v

Mt was not distorting or stressing.

Still I think there is something wrong with the box maby?

3 cubes after displacement @ 35hz 50 square inches of port area.

Going to try alittle smaller box 2.5 cubes same port area maby 60 square inches and same tuning maby alittle higher. 37-38hz.

Could also just be me or my car dont know.

Time to put it on the tl and find out what is going on.
