Help with head unit install

Well i bought a wiring harness thing for my suv 2000 navigator...wired it all up to my unit which is a alpine cva-1005. Turns on fine and what not but there is no sound and i can barely hear it when it is turned all the way up. There were 3 different plugs going into my stock head unit but i am only using one. It has a stock alpine premium system of some sort and i do not know what the **** to do haha helpppp

I was thinking the same if he has a stock premium system.

Bypass the stock amp (if there) ftw.

how do i bypass the stock amp? i removed the stock 8" sub and amp but i guess one powers the speakers as well?

the amp also powers the speakers i believe

hmm well i removed the amp that was with the sub it looked like the only output was to the sub though. maybe there is another amp. Wish i could find a wiring diagram for those 2 other connectors.

actually i went there first and printed it out. but this is all for the one connector which i did use and lincoln used all those stupid colors but with the wiring harness it uses the yellow black orange and red and what not. dunno what the wiring is for the other 2 connectors

well i plugged the stock hu back in and the speakers come on....i guess i have to figure out how to integrate those other plugs ughhh

went to tweeter and best buy and they weren't much help they sold me another harness and i used the one other plug which ended up doing nothing......wish someone has installed a unit with an alpine stereo system in their car already
