I've been out of this game for quite a while. Now that I can put together a REAL system, I'm jumping back in. 99% of the folks in this forum have WAY more knowledge and experience than I'm likely to acquire before making some expensive mistakes, so I'd LOVE any input I can get.

Here's what I'm looking to put into a 1998 Honda Accord Coupe, and am looking for any advice/thoughts that could help me achieve ideal results-not sure what "ideal" yet means for me though.

H/U: Alpine CDA-7949

Processor: Alpine PXA-H701

Tweets: Morel Supremo (kickpanel) -- on Alpine F#1 MRV-F900

Midrange: Morel Supremo 5 (kickpanel) -- on Alpine F#1 MRV-F900

Midbass: Morel Supremo 9 (door) -- on Zapco C2k 4.0x

Subs: (2) IDMAX 12v3D4 (Sealed, rear fire) -- on (2) Zapco C2k 6.0x

Street Wires, Second Skin Deadener galore, Stinger Battery, Upgraged alternator.

Questions:

1.) Is bridging one MRV-F900 to the Tweets (that'd be 400w RMS @4ohms) totally overkill? - should i go 4 channel to Mids/Tweets and Bridge the other Alpine to the Midbass only (leaving the C2 4.0x out)?

2.) Besides the Esotar, I love the Supremo tweet, but for a "better" midrange (clearer/livelier) that blends well with it, what do you recommend? Scans? Seas?

3.) I like the idea of going 3way with a 9" in the door (Morel has pretty shallow mounting depth), and this way I can install the mid/tweet in the kickpanel without sacrificing too much foot room (esp if I go with a 4" mid). But, any ideas for a better Midbass driver with the amps mentioned?

4.) I've never run a system that needs so much juice. how much alt output do I need realistically? and what about battery recommendations?

IMO 400wrms is overkill for tweeters and I love having headroom.

I love the supremo tweeters. They are my favorite by far.

I've heard the DLS 8" and it was nice. I can only imagine the 9" Morel would be just as good if not better. My Morel Elate LE 3 6.5" mid already pwns.

I run a 250A in my accord. I'd say the same for you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Do it once, do it right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...
