help with choosing amp

Due to space constraints I have chosen a JL 13TW5-3

as my sub. This subs impedance is 3 ohm. would i be better to use a 4 channel amp to run both my front comps and my sub or should i run my sub off of a mono amp such as an alpine MRP-M500 amp.

do you see yourself upgrading the sub stage in the near future? if you do then i would just go with a 2ch and a mono. much easier to just upgrade one amp
