personally, i liked integration by parts and trig substitutions way more than integration by substitutions

I didn't like those ways because it required me to memorize the formulas. I absolutely hate memorizing or studying...with a passion. all i ever used my ti-86 for was games. everyone started to do it and they got banned during times when calculators werent necessary //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif also used em for graphing, which is my least favorite thing to do next to an ugly chick.

Ti-89? spend the extra $50 or so and get one of these

It's the Voyage 200 from Ti. It's slightly more advanced from the 89, but it has a full keyboard. now you only need to push 1 key instead of '2nd-diamond-sin(' to get a letter character.
