Help with BTL Recone

Use the manilla folders, and make sure they do not over lap inside of the coil...otherwise you'll get it crooked.

Add as many layers as you need for it to be 'snug' and not rock left to right very much at all..i can't remember if it is 2 or 3 layers of the manilla folders...

Thanks!

What about one of these deals i have laying around, i could rip off one side of the folder and use that as a shim possibly?

try one layer of that cut it to 7"HXthe length. See if it works youll want to put the recone on and slide shim inside and see if its tight but not too tight sometimes I like to move the cone back and forth to get the shim snug but be easy when doing it.

2-3 layers of manila folder on BTLs?

Wow...that gap is wider than I thought.

My 95d was snug w/ 1 sheet of printer paper and a clear plastic sheet.

And like ND said...DONOT over lap the paper/folder. Get the ends close though.

i did two layers of that folder and its pretty firm, u can still get it to go side to side if u try and wiggle it around, and if i use 3 layers its like a rock it dosent move anywere, which one should i use?
