help with bt on kenwood hu

i have a kenwood ddx512 with nav and it works fine but when i got the blue tooth addaptor i had some problems

i know i plug in the gps to the bt but it has 4 pins im suppose to switch but the manual only shows 3

the bt modual is bt-200 i believe

also gps does not work when plugged in to the bt addaptor

tried putting the pins every different way possible and nothing worked

any help is appreciated

Are you using the half round "KAB"adapter with the BT? You have to use the same ports in the daisy chain. In other words the Nav has the KAB port you have to use the same port output from the bt200 to the KAB input on the DDX "not the 5L changer port" for it to work or only the device next to the unit will work.

i unplug the gps and plug it in the bt then plug the exact same plug as the gps but from the bt into the hu and neither work

but when it is just the gps it works

im thinking it has something to do with the 4 switches that are suppose to be in different orders for each radio but the instructions only show 3

I just checked the Kenwood manuals for the bt100,200,300 the 100 has 2 switches and the 200+300 have 3. post a pic.
