I do what I want
Hey guys I have been up all night wiring my sub in... d2 SPL built to handle 2000 daily from my bxi at 1 ohm... Problem It wires down find and getting reads like it should but it's not moving to the point you can't hear it at all... My amp reads 9 ohms when turned on by it's self and with the sub connected as do the box terminals when playing... What am I Doing wrong?!?!

Yeah and my discus reads 1.8 with the sub connected. dont measure your impedance at the amp.

make sure all your wire connections are good and make sure that you dont have any filters or anything set on the amp.

Well I wouldn't put much weight into that, I mean when it's connected to the amplifier you have a lot of internal circuitry that could easily be skewing your reading. It doesn't really matter what it reads once it's hooked up if you know the static load is 1 ohm. My guess would be your fault lies elsewhere. How did you set your gains? Even if your not a fan of the DMM method it would be worth the effort because you'll be measuring the output voltage of your amplifier. This will tell us if your amp is sending the correct level signal.
